A master’s degree or at least five years of relevant professional experience
A genuine and economically viable business project, with simplified approval and our support
Personal resources of at least €17,760 net
Investment of at least €30,000 in tangible or intangible assets

Road map

First D visa: around 2 months
First residence permit: 4 years
Subsequent residence permits: 4 years
After 5 years: a 10-year resident card and/or citizenship

Dependent family members

Adults: after the first two-month D visa, a four-year Talent Family residence permit may be issued, followed by a resident card.
Children: after the first two-month D visa, a residence permit may be issued for up to five years, until age 18. Later documents depend on the child’s age at entry and future plans; a four-year Talent Family residence permit may be requested once.
